RocketReach uses pattern matching and data aggregation to derive addresses and assigns a confidence level based on how many sources confirm the result. This is a data quality check, not a real-time SMTP check. An address that RocketReach returns with high confidence may still bounce if the mailbox has since closed, the employee moved companies, or the domain changed its mail server configuration.
