Instantly runs campaigns. BillionVerify verifies the list before campaigns start.
Instantly is a cold email platform. It manages inbox rotation, warmup sequences, campaign scheduling, and multi-inbox outbound at scale. It does that well.
BillionVerify is a pre-send verification layer. It classifies email records by signal type β valid, invalid, catch-all, role-based, unknown, disposable β before any of those records enter a sending tool. It does not run campaigns.
These are different problems. Instantly cannot replace BillionVerify, and BillionVerify cannot replace Instantly. They sit at different points in the workflow: BillionVerify runs before Instantly import; Instantly takes over once the verified list is ready.
What Instantly handles.
Instantly manages the sending layer. It provides:
- Multi-inbox campaign rotation across dedicated cold email domains
- Mailbox warmup with configurable velocity and pools
- Sequence scheduling, follow-up automation, and reply detection
- Campaign analytics, open and click tracking
- Multi-account management for teams and agencies
Instantly also includes basic list quality features. These handle obvious formatting errors and some invalid address patterns.
What Instantly's built-in features do not replace:
- A consistent, pre-import catch-all classification policy applied across all lists and data sources
- Role-based address detection applied before any sequence step runs
- Suppression management that persists across campaigns and imports, not just within a single campaign
- Unknown address segmentation before high-volume rotation begins
- A verification result that runs before the list is inside Instantly's interface
Instantly's list-quality features are applied within the platform's context. A dedicated pre-import pass through BillionVerify applies a consistent policy before Instantly sees the list β at the source, not inside the sender.
What BillionVerify handles.
BillionVerify applies a pre-send quality gate to the list before it enters any sending tool. It provides:
- Signal classification: valid, invalid, catch-all, role-based, unknown, risky, disposable
- Catch-all detection: identifies domains that accept all addresses so you can segment them separately
- Role-based detection: flags shared inboxes before they enter a named-contact sequence
- Suppression management: export and maintain suppression lists across campaigns and imports
- Domain and MX-level checks: identifies records where the sending domain itself is invalid or misconfigured
BillionVerify does not run campaigns. It does not manage inboxes, warmup sequences, or campaign scheduling.
