Here is how to see what your DNS really serves, and which servers accept your mail. Your DNS panel shows what you saved. The DNS Checker shows what the authoritative nameservers are serving right now. It looks up A, AAAA, MX, TXT, NS, CNAME and SOA records. For mail, two matter most. MX routes your mail, and TXT carries SPF and DMARC. Enter a domain, choose MX, and click Check DNS. One MX record comes back. Priority 1, pointing at Google's mail server. With no MX record, nothing arrives through the normal path. So rule this out first when mail stops. Now switch the record type to NS and check again. Same form, different question. These are the nameservers answering for the domain. Here, that's two at Cloudflare. After a DNS change, compare this with what you meant to publish. If your own machine disagrees, it may still have the older answer. When mail is the problem, use the second tool, MX Lookup. It answers one question: which servers accept mail for this domain, and in what order. Enter the domain, and look it up. You get a table, with priority on the left and the mail server on the right. Lower numbers are tried first, and equal numbers share the load. Correct MX records mean mail can be routed. They don't prove a mailbox exists, because MX covers every address at the domain.
