   The Email Marketing Bible is a free guide on our site, with seventeen chapters and four appendices. Here's what's in each part, and where to start. You don't read this one cover to cover. It's a reference. Each chapter stands alone, so you go straight to the problem in front of you. It's built from 908 sources and 4,798 individual insights. Those sources are industry reports, practitioner blogs, academic research, platform documentation and community forums. Sources don't always agree. When numbers conflicted, the guide used the most commonly cited figure, or the one from the most authoritative source. So read its benchmarks as directional, not absolute.
