1. 00:00What Angi Approved means

   On Angi, a badge can mean an owner passed a criminal background check. It can't tell you if their email works. Angi Approved has three parts. At least three stars once there's a review. A background check on the owner, principal or relevant manager. And a promise to keep all licenses. Notice who that check covers. Angi says it can't run one on every employee. It's about one person at the top, and nothing about how the office reads mail. Licensed, bonded and insured need care too. Pros indicate those on their own profile, and Angi says this. So don't state them as fact in your email.

2. 00:38Filter the list

   Here's a useful filter. Some Angi Approved names are Corporate Accounts, national platform partners rather than typical local crews. Angi marks them on the profile. If you want local owners, take them out. Badges do hint at activity. The Super Service Award needs 4.5 stars and at least three new reviews in the review period. New to Angi just marks a new advertiser. It isn't a bad sign. Then look at service areas. Companies set them on their own profiles, so a contractor can turn up in several of your searches. Each row may be the same crew. And remember what the list is. Angi's search shows a company name, ratings and profile details. If your list has email addresses, they usually came from the pro's own website. Angi isn't vouching for them. Small crews change how you sort. The address might be the owner's own name, or one inbox the whole crew shares. Both can be real. They just need different notes.

3. 01:28Verify the list

   Time to verify. Open File List Verify. Check the unique count. If you dropped repeats, it should be close to your own number. This is a bigger sample list, not Angi data, so don't expect the same split.

4. 01:41Route each result

   Valid names go first, with a note written to that owner. Role gets copy for a shared inbox. Catch-all is common on small hosting, so test it small. Unknown sits out. Invalid and disposable never get imported. Pick a status, and export that file.
