Why verify before the send
Hunter surfaces contact emails from public sources, but discovered addresses can still be outdated, role-based, or belong to catch-all domains that silently accept everything. Running each address through BillionVerify before outreach removes hard-bounce risk, keeps your domain reputation clean, and ensures your messages reach real decision-makers.

They complement each other. Hunter's score estimates deliverability from pattern matching, while BillionVerify performs a live SMTP handshake to confirm the mailbox exists right now.
Can I verify addresses in bulk after a Hunter domain search?
Yes. Export the full list, pass it to BillionVerify's REST API, and import the verified subset back into your outreach tool — the whole process can be automated in n8n.
What happens with catch-all domains?
